@JohnPhilpin @help This looks correct to me - the post with the webmention has microformats and the u-in-reply-to class but I’m not seeing it as a reply to my post or in my webmentions.
@heyloura @JohnPhilpin Hmm… I manually triggered a webmention for that post (using this tool). Does it show up now? If so, maybe there’s an issue with the automatic triggering that @manton need to troubleshoot.
@JohnPhilpin @sod @manton It also came through as a regular mention a moment ago with a notification from the micro.blog android app.
@heyloura css and styling aside it looks like I already have got my webmentions working … after this mornings flurry I took a look at my account and webmentions.io and one reason I am not seeing them is that there aren’t any !!!!
But to 🖇️ prove it works …
What I am not seeing is my web mention on your site. Should I be?
@JohnPhilpin I don’t think you see webmentions on my side because my theme doesn’t show them. The ones that micro.blog recognizes you can because they act like @mentions that conversation.js picks up - you can see the one @sod triggered here at the bottom of the conversation thread: heyloura.com/2026/09/2… I also see one from your website to mine under account > webmentions.
I’m wondering if the issue is you have two webmention providers in your HTML head, micro.blog and webmentions.io. I don’t know enough to tell if that is the issue preventing them being sent by micro.blog but it could be a hint. @manton
@heyloura thank you - it does explain the repetitions - like🖇️ here - so maybe I can just simplify and remove the web mentions block … @manton ?
next thought - trying to ensure that replies to posts on my syndicated spaces - primarily threads (no breath held) blusky (i think is working) and mastodon (need to. look closer) - more a note and exercise for me.
