@manton @vincent The iOS app (both beta and release) keeps toggling my push notifications off. I haven’t gotten a notification in weeks.

@Mtt @vincent Thanks. In the app settings it’s showing as disabled?

@manton @vincent Yes, disabled. I can toggle it on no problem. But a minute later it’ll be off again.

@Mtt I checked and it seems this is me too. I turned on push yesterday and it was off again today. Since I don’t get many comments, I don’t generally notice it.

@mtt @manton @vincent same here, no notifications. Biggest thing I’ve noticed having @microsocial installed is I actually get notifications. 😯 Also another +1 vote for supporting email notifications in addition to push notifications. (My notifications are turned on in settings, but they don’t come.)

@Mtt, I’m not alone, but for me the notifications stopped working ages ago. But still active in settings. // @manton @Vincent

@heyloura @jthingelstad Thoughts on whether email notifications should be for each mention or like a daily summary of “here are 3 mentions you got today / this week”?

@manton for me I would be totally fine with an email per notification. But I suspect others, like you, would not want that. You get 10x or more engagement than I do on posts. In finished form I would think immediate or daily is more than enough. I would also be fine with immediate only for me.

@jthingelstad @manton Echoing Jamie again 😆. I’d be fine with an email per notification. But depending on how much interaction someone gets I could see it being too much. Ideally I’d like to toggle between none, per, and daily. But I’d also love if just one of those choices was available 😄

@Mtt @manton @vincent Also haven’t received any notifications even though the setting has been marked as “on” for months now. Even with my small amount of replies, I’ve taken to manually checking because otherwise I miss them.
