Broke my leg skiing two days ago. At least 6 weeks non-weight bearing. My world has shrunk down to a bedroom and bathroom, a walker and a shower seat. This is your reminder that you’re temporarily abled.

@agilelisa Oh, I don’t envy you that! Good thing you’re glad to read. Hope you have everything you need to get through this bout of injury. Wishing you the best for the duration! ❤️🩹
@agilelisa oh Lisa, I’m so sorry! I can relate after The Big Trip of 2019. It was a life-changing perspective, trying to navigate through life without the use of one leg.
I also got a bunch of helpful tools. I just gathered them into an Amazon list in case there’s anything you haven’t already thought of.
@jean I’m dealing with a relative with increasing mobility issues. This is a genuinely helpful list. Thank you.
@jean Looks like great tools to get in a situation like that. I wish Amazon had a “THIS, but in the .de store” and so on ability. For wish lists and shopping lists, Jeff.
@paulcraig901 I’m glad it helps. At the time, I felt like my tech gadget shopping cravings got transferred to these mobility tools.
I kept the grabbers and still use them. So clever.
@jean Thank you! Who even knew there was such a thing as a “leg lifter” and I do have such a need for it right now. Also picking up a few more items from your list. I’m sorry you had to gain this expertise and I am grateful for it.
@agilelisa Yikes! Wishing you a speedy recovery.
@micromick thank you. A total recovery would be nice but isn’t guaranteed. Apparently there’s a chance of a limp after this kind of break. I’m definitely thinking hopeful thoughts.
