@iChris Thanks! That has been there for a little while but sometimes doesn’t work for reasons I don’t understand. If it’s more reliable now, I’m not sure why, but I’ll take it!

@vincent @manton Oh maybe it was actually before I updated the app on iOS? It’s the first time it worked for me ever using the iOS app. I think I’m in the Testflight on it as well. Up until that moment, it was always a debate whether it was worth it to try and link. :)

@iChris It was always a hit-or-miss with the pasting of the link, although it worked all the time in Drafts so wasn’t an iOS issue.

@pratik Ooh Drafts. I keep forgetting to use that. What’s your workflow? (Or am I having deja vu here and have already talked to you about this when I previously tried to get into Drafts?)

@iChris Ha! Trust me, I go through that cycle too. I use @donnydavis ’s excellent Actions to post to Micro.blog. You can also go back and update via Drafts. With the new tag filtering systems, Drafts shows a nice chronological structure for your posts with these actions (they need to be updated slightly, though).

@pratik Holy poopballs that’s a game changer. I don’t know why I hadn’t tried posting from Drafts before like that. Having the cross-post options right there is great for when I don’t want to send dumb thoughts to LinkedIn. lol Thanks @donnydavis.

@pratik How are you using tags?

@iChris How as in? Have Workspaces that are created with tags and then have tags automatically associated at the end of actions. Plus @donnydavis’s tags help create that chronological structure

@manton I’ve been experiencing a crash on iOS app for the last few versions when trying to open the posts list. Was hoping latest fixed it, but no joy. Have deleted app and installed fresh twice. What do you need from me to troubleshoot? Cc @help

@jimmitchell @vincent I think I’ve seen this crash before too. I thought it was something just with my account or build at first, but I guess not. (It doesn’t always happen for me.)

@manton probably not the place for it and if not, I’m sorry…but my micro.blog instance appears to be down…or if you go to my main page “Not Found” 😱

@lostinhaste Sorry, I’m looking into this… Might be a theme error of some kind that is preventing the blog from being fully published.

@Contz If you want to copy your Micro.blog posts to a separate Mastodon account, click on Account → “Edit Sources & Cross-posting” and add a Mastodon account there. Micro.blog will automatically copy them. If you want people to follow your Micro.blog account directly, that’s set under Account → ActivityPub.

@manton Thanks a lot. While, if I want to keep my Micro.blog account as my Mastodon account, is there a way it’s going to be auto populated with what I’m posting on my Micro.blog blog?

@vincent @manton The crash is a little different now. I can load the posts list and start to scroll, but after a few entries of scroll, then the app crashes. Will send another video to @help. Maybe I have a bad character in a post. The only change I’ve made is aliasing Mastodon username to MB ActivityPub username, and made some posts…

@manton Hi there! I’m using Alpine theme, how did you change colors etc in your mobile version? Is there a different plugin to be installed?

@Contz Which colors? I’ve tweaked a few things with CSS. Also there’s a “Marfa dark mode” plug-in that should work with Alpine too.

@manton Yes, I mean desktop mode you have yellow and white, while on mobile your website is dark and blue :)
