Feature request: Ability to add books to your own Bookshelves from this page. I’ve stumbled on many that have linked to interesting books on this page, only for me not having an easy way of adding the book to my own Bookshelves. @help @manton

@odd That’s a great idea.

@odd For me, the ability to add to my bookshelves is there, a bit further down (you have to scroll).

@sod Are you sure? I meant when someone have a post with a link to the book they are reading. All I saw was the Amazon, Worldcat and Bookstore buttons.

@odd I followed the latest ten book links from the Discover section, and they all had Add to bookshelf buttons. Do you have a link to a book where it's missing?

@sod I clicked on one of them, and it didn’t have a link or button for that.

@odd Maybe the link opens up in a browser (or in-app browser) where you're not signed in on Micro.blog? For example, the current Micro.blog beta client has that behavior.

@sod @odd Yep I see the buttons for that book.

@SimonWoods @sod I see it in the web client, but not in the 3.0 beta for ios. I dont think I did in the 2.x for ios either. (I almost never use the web client).

@odd For this to work with other clients, the developers must ensure you're signed in before showing you the Micro.blog website. @manton or @vincent might be interested in this conversation. 😊

@odd @sod Yeah, the buttons are there but only if you're signed in, so often requires an extra tap to open in Safari. Automatically signing in for in-app browsers is something we could look at. Or maybe if you have Epilogue installed, we could open book links in that.
