Remember when the headlight knob in the car was by your left knee and the high beam switch was on the floor near your left foot?

@hawaiiboy that was the setup on my 1976 van. My children don’t believe me that it was a thing.

@hawaiiboy hahaha, I do. I had totally forgotten about the high beam switch on my 1970 Malibu.

@hawaiiboy Yes! They went along with the 3-on-the-tree manual transmission in my Galaxie! (Unless it was on my earlier Ford, also 3-on-the-tree, and with a manual choke.)
