I’ve all but stopped wearing my Apple Watch, only putting it on when walking/hiking/biking/etc. Have enjoyed wearing a non-smart watch the rest of the time. I’ve also been deleting a lot of apps from my phone, using it less and less each day. Have had better clarity as a result, based on both changes, and ... aaronaiken.micro.blog

@aa In a similar situation with the Apple Watch. I now use it mostly to sleep. As far as the phone, I started getting only a few notifications a while back, and that is still what I'm doing. It does help.

@maique yep, its the constant nagging or constant feeling of "I need to check something" or really just the constant access to things that has become oh so exhausting. @gregmoore I'm tired of all of it at this point :-) A lot of me is longing for the simpler days of not being so connected.

@aa I’ve done the same with my Apple Watch. It’s great for running, biking, and hiking. But I love wearing a mechanical watch the rest of the time.
