@Parag What a fantastic induction process, especially addressing that everyone finds it hard and there is plenty of help. All the best for your young man.
@Parag Sounds like a perfect drop off, and glad you’re all proud. Congratulations to all of you 🙂
@Parag Lovely post. I’m sure it’s a great fit for A and he’s going to love his time there, complete with academic rigor
@Parag Wishing him the best, and also hoping you all will be OK without him around the house. I wish I took a college education when I had the chance, instead of the private school I went to - without a official degree. 👨🎓
@Parag Such a kind and thorough introduction. Instead of to leaving home, it’s entering a caring community. Best wishes on you coping with his absence.
@odd Thank you! Didn’t know about this option of private school you had. Maybe a different experience but it still prepared you for a good career in tech industry, I assume.
@gregmoore Thank you! Our daughter is still at home for one more week. It is going to be tough after she leaves.
@Parag Well, it was supposed to be, but I was so financially strained, and shared apartment with non-students, so that studying got the passenger seat. In the early 90s the labor market wasn’t the best either, (with the aftermath of the ‘87 bank crisis), so I didn’t get to work in a IT position until 1995, (although in a IT company since 1992), but then I had some years of practice. 😃👍
