Streaming music playlists are good for mindlessly putting on music but I get far more enjoyment listening to full albums. Before you press play on another chill beats to study to playlist, give some of these a try.

@gregmoore That Shins album is superb and often overlooked.
As for R.E.M.'s Monster, it is simply magnificent. An album to be experienced in full, track by track just as you say. A turning point for the band after the juggernaut of Automatic.
@circustiger Port of Morrow gets a yearly obsession from me where I play it for weeks and weeks.
Monster has been in my regular rotation since it’s initial release. A sentimental album for me.
@gregmoore Aww Frente! They were my 2nd concert—opening act for Everything but the Girl. And I can’t believe you have BT in there. I’m a Tori Amos fan (she was my 1st concert) and still listen to Blue Skies sometimes. Ha!
@gregmoore And Homogenic and Electric Honey! I’ve seen both live once. Björk was in an opera house w Matmos for Vespertine and Luscious Jackson was in a dive joint w Cibo Matto. There was no a/c that night and it was almost unbearable but the music was so fun if I recall.
@gregmoore and Belly & Tanya Donnelly are still in heavy rotation. Did you catch any of her releases during the pandemic?
@UndamnedOne Dang! It sounds like you and I would have a great weekend just listening to albums. 🙂 I’m jealous of all the concerts you got to see. Björk is just a mind blowing musician to me and, while I missed seeing her live, I’ve watched her concert videos to death.
I should probably add Tori Amos’s Under The Pink to my list since I listened to it enough to see her Dew Drop Inn tour.
@tracydurnell Yeah, she’s something special.
@gregmoore Wow, such a great list! You had me at Joy Division 👍 Oh and your comment about 'chill beats to study to' playlist...felt like you were talking directly to me 😂 I need to break that habit.
@jsalvino Haha 😂 my chill playlist comment was for myself too. It’s so easy to settle on those when I’m working but ignore all the other stuff I could be listening to. I’m happy to have so many people sharing a love for these artists.
@gregmoore I don't know many people who know Bent and Telepopmusik. Those are among my favorites as well.
@gregmoore wow! What an extensive list of music to explore, some of which I know, a lot of which I don’t! Thanks.
@cliffordbeshers I discovered Telepopmusic in college but somehow missed Bent until around 2018. Discovering Bent’s albums were like a surprise birthday present. I just love them.
