Micro.blog integrates with Bluesky in a few ways that people don’t know about, so I collected a summary of each feature together in a single help page. Also, new feature coming tomorrow that I’ll add to this page.
@manton Does having two factor break this? I kept getting a failed login until I realized I was spamming myself with the two factor code :)
@linh You’ll need to generate app-specific passwords on Bluesky if using two-factor auth. Let me know if that doesn’t fix it! Later we’ll move to OAuth when the dust settles with that on Bluesky.
@manton Do you have plans to enable video cross-posting now that it is generally available on Bluesky? This would solve a really important use case for me (cross-platform animated weather radar imagery).
@jaredwsmith I do want to support video. I looked at it briefly and it was a medium-sized change, so haven’t had a chance to tackle it yet.
@manton I’m curious about the linking to syndicated posts on bsky.app. Does atproto give you a canonical URL, or are you left to assume that this is the best host for viewing posts?
