Do I need to turn on anything other them crosspost with bluesky?
How long does the replies take to appear?
Will the sync work with older posts?
@nunesdennis Enabling cross-posting is enough. I’m still tweaking the timing, right now it only checks for mentions every once in a while. Should work for any blog posts in the last few months.
@nunesdennis I’ve found it takes anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour for replies to show up. But, they don’t thread into a conversation view like mastodon or micro blog comment. @manton
@drose Do you have automatic cross-posting enabled or manual? For the latter it doesn’t thread correctly yet but I think we can add that.
@drose My replies did not come yet, made a new post yesterday, 7h later and nothing appeared 🤔
I also disabled and reenabled crossposting(crosspost working automatically).
@drose @nunesdennis It's a little unpredictable right now because it depends on Micro.blog staying open, so I bet that is contributing to the problem. I'm tweaking it today, should be better.
@manton I do have auto-cross posting enabled but the converssations do not thread nor when I click on conversation can i see the originating post.
@drose I've removed the limitation on automatic vs. manual cross-posting, so both should work the same now. However, I do see the problem you're talking about... What's weird is I don't actually see the original post on your profile or blog in at least one case too (the Wordle one). Something is off.
@manton maybe it’s because they are replying something that was only posted on Bluesky, oh my gosh! That is the problem! Geesh
@starrwulfe No, I haven't seen a plug-in for that yet. I'll work on one later if no one else gets to it.
@manton Looking forward to it-- maybe I can look at what makes the "reply on fediverse" plugin work and try myself if I can get some time; I've never made a plugin before though.
