@manton I am mirroring my site to github pages. Ever since I changed to them Default theme the page build in Github has been failing. Do I need to wipe the content over on Github?

@frankm I'm not actually sure... I know there have been some theme incompatibilities although often the warnings can be ignored. I'll be looking into this.

@manton @rosemaryorchard mentioned that she solved a Github related issue she was having earlier today that sounds kind of similar. Perhaps it's related? (apologies if it's a totally different thing)

@manton @frankm my GitHub issue was that my personal access token was removed somehow, and that broke things silently. I have no idea if that would play a role here (I'm using a very different setup.)

@rosemaryorchard @manton My content is getting to the repo but the Jekyll version is not being built. I am getting the following error. I am mostly using Github as a backup to what I post on micro.blog and I don’t publicize the site so it’s not a huge issue if it doesn’t build.

The page build failed for the master branch with the following error:

Your SCSS file assets/stylesheets/global.scss has an error on line 1: File to import not found or unreadable: base/reset. Load paths: _sass /hoosegow/.bundle/ruby/2.4.0/gems/jekyll-theme-primer-0.5.3/sass. For more information, see help.github.com/articles/...

@frankm Deleting that one file from GitHub might fix this if the issue is that the file isn't needed in your new theme.

@manton No luck with the one file. I thought that I would be “smart” and remove the Github settings on my microblog, then remove all the directories and folders, generate a new personal token, add that back into microblog and have it “regenerate” the site to the repo. So far, nothing has transferred from microblog to the repo.

@frankm It doesn't mirror to GitHub immediately. It's limited to a few times a day, so likely just need to wait until later whenever you post again and it will try to copy everything over.

@manton Ok, I did not know and I’ve probably been bombarding it to try and get it to work. I’ll wait and see what happens tomorrow. I hope I didn’t cause any problems.
