Mars is out on the other side of the Moon. End of lunar occultation of Mars.

@crossingthethreshold Yep! Last night we could see Mars go behind the Moon. This is the “after” photo. Here is a link to the “before” photo. 😄

@Parag How long did it take to transit?

@dfj It is actually called an occultation as Mars goes behind the Moon. It started at 9:25 pm and Mars emerged on the other side at 10:40 pm. Took pictures at the beginning and at the end and sat inside while Mars was hidden.
