@manton I like Kagi’s capability to create a “lens” to limit search results to a set of websites. Do you know of any way to create a lens for “all micro.blog sites”? There are cases where I would like to search just this ecosystem and I don’t know of any way to do that. Could there be an API endpoint to publish an inventory of all sites? Or maybe this is something micro.blog could natively support.
@jthingelstad Interesting. No, probably not possible because anyone could have their own domain name, so you couldn't use *.micro.blog. Publishing all site names also might have unintended side effects.
@manton Doesn't everyone have a *.micro.blog as well as their own domain name, though? Like I just visited devilgate.micro.blog and it took me to my site, devilgate.org. Which is not quite what I expected; I would have expected a more Micro.blog-like view of my posts, such as this web one I'm typing in now. But still, could the search @jthingelstad asks for not be done that way?
@devilgate Maybe! I don't currently use Kagi so I'm not sure how to set it up. The blog vs. profile page difference is intentional but can be confusing. Long story short, you can have multiple blogs, which is why the profile page has to be a separate thing.
