@desparoz What are your thoughts on using those tools vs. using this platform? I guess it depends if the other writer is on here or not?
@scientifics @desparoz It's all part of an "indieweb" workflow that sends correctly formatted webmentions back to the original sites (if they support them) - and the indieweb way is to post on your own site then syndicate elsewhere.
@scientifics Although they are disparate elements at this time, I am inspired by the promise that all the indieweb elements will work together to allow us to have content on our own sites, while still having the social glue holding it all together. Micro.blog is quite possibly going to be the core of that social glue.
So, my thoughts are that hopefully it won't be an either/or choice, but all part of an indieweb whole.
Thats why Colin's work is cool. It brings some of the pieces together...
@desparoz @scientifics Thanks Des. It's exactly that - I'm not a developer by any stretch but wanted something to 'fill in the gaps' and this is what I came up with in lieu of a more technical solution.
