Moving to Mac: colinwalker.blog

@colinwalker welcome to the 🍎 club!

@eli Thanks 😊

@colinwalker I think you might be surprised I've found macs have been cost effective as they usually last me a long time as long as you don't get latest & greatest envy.

@johnjohnston It's always been the initial outlay that's the issue.

@colinwalker I save up as I go. Last one ran for 8 years. Although it was slow for the last couple;-)

@johnjohnston What is this "save" of which you speak? 😆

@colinwalker Enjoy your Mac!

@colinwalker heh, it is an old fashioned idea. Not many folk know about it.

@johnjohnston I vaguely seem to remember it but the kids must have removed it from my vocabulary 😉

@colinwalker it came back to me when mine left home😃

@colinwalker Yep, the build quality and trackpad spoils you for almost anything else. :)

@colinwalker great stuff... now you can use the Mac app I built... shameless plug.. haha

@matthew while you're shamelessly plugging, where can one find your macOS micro.blog app?

@desparoz you can grab it here: github.com/matthewro... - planning to add updates once work settles down
