Experimenting with Gemini CLI to iterate on some web page changes. It’s free for basic usage. It does get confused sometimes, having to re-read files and apply changes multiple times, which makes it feel slow and a little wasteful.
@manton I haven’t used the command line interface, but I have used Gemini Pro extensively in the last couple of months on a trial period. It was great for a long time, but in the last couple of weeks it’s been like talking to a rapidly deteriorating elderly relative.
@davidmarsden Ha, ouch. Interestingly in Gemini CLI, it started with 2.5 Pro but then when things got slow, switched automatically to 2.5 Flash.
