It feels like the AT Proto tooling has gotten much more mature in the last year. I was able to create a new PDS account on my own server, sign in from Bluesky, and it “just works”. 🪄
@rom No, I seriously considered it but I’m going to use the Bluesky reference implementation PDS instead. When I better understand all the pieces, I might write my own.
@dave Yes, if you enable Bluesky cross-posting on the Sources page it’ll add standard.site too (for long-form posts with titles).

@manton – i listened to it and it keeps going, he even says what their business model is going to be. the one thing i want to ask is if he really believes there is such a thing as “microblogging.”
