@manton thank you and @danielpunkass for everything! I enjoyed yalls podcast for years now. I did not have any particular stake in Apple development but I enjoyed the conversations that you two had. The insights into your how you run your businesses was always interesting. 🙏🏾
@manton @danielpunkass@micro.blog thank you. Always enjoyed listening to you both.
@manton didn't see that coming! I've only been listening for a little under a year but I loved the show. It's always sad to see something end but you had a hell of a run! Thank you guys for everything you do 🫶
@manton Truly the end of an era. Thank you to you and @danielpunkass for producing a fine show. I'll miss you guys.
@manton I've enjoyed "sitting down" with both of you every week for a long time. Totally understand the decision!
@manton Thanks for keeping it going for so many years. Really appreciate how it was personal, out regularly, and never too long.
@manton wow, 16 years and 626 podcast episodes! You and @danielpunkass definitely deserve a break after that long run.
@manton @danielpunkass Congratulations on the long run! I'll miss hearing your voices every week or so. :)
@manton I've only listened for the last couple of years, but it's always been interesting. Thank you both for your work.
@manton I’ve been enjoying this podcast for about 12 years now, and I don't think I’ve ever missed an episode! That’s something I can't say for any other podcast. 😊 Thank you and @danielpunkass.punkitup.com, so much for all the insightful moments, laughter, and genuine vulnerability you’ve shared.
@manton Is there an issue with categories? They don’t seem to be loading anywhere near all the posts I would expect. At the most it's one or two posts showing, but often nothing at all.
@manton and @danielpunkass Thank you for all those years of listening enjoyment. I'm a bit sad, but totally understand your reasoning why to end it now, on a high note. Now enjoy your free time while it lasts.
@manton oh no! I’m so sad/sorry to hear that! It‘s my go-to Podcast since the beginning of my Podcast listening probably back in 2010 or so. You and @danielpunkass were always there… I had to burn those episodes on a CD so I could listen in my car. End of an era 😕
@manton oh no! That came out of the blue! I enjoyed listing to you two. You will be missed. Thank you for recording it all these years.
@manton @danielpunkass What an amazing achievement. Thank you both for putting on a great show. Looking forward to listening to the finale.
@manton and only another 40 episodes and you could have got a solid conspiracy theory going. Nicely done.
@manton @danielpunkass congrats gentlemen, I’m gonna miss listening to y’all, but I’ll keep reading.
@manton ahh that is a shame. But it was a solid run. I’ve been listening for maybe 5 or 6 years now. What would be cool is if next week you released episode 01 and on it went on loop for another 16 years. Surely there is some automation that can make that happen?
@manton @danielpunkass I’m going to miss listening to you both after all these years, especially for Manton’s thoughtful consideration of many issues and Daniel’s unique humour.
@danielpunkass @manton I’ll miss your voices on my commute. I am not in the target, Mac dev, audience, but like many others have really enjoyed listening to you both chatting.
@manton Thank you both for the insight and entertainment over the years. I'll miss regularly tuning in. And if you ever make your lovely little theme music available for download, I wouldn't say no to putting it on my iPhone.

@manton and @danielpunkass thank you so much for the podcast. It really helped me as an aspiring indie dev to know that you don’t have to know everything to break out on your own.
@manton @danielpunkass When I was first thinking about joining Micro.blog, I listened to an episode of the podcast to try to better understand Micro.blog and who this Manton guy was. Five minutes in, I was ready to sign up. Both of you are so genuine and smart and caring … I knew the blog would be in excellent hands. And maybe more importantly, I got a sense of what to expect from this community. I have not been disappointed.
Hats off, guys.
@robertbreen Thank you for the kind words!
@danielpunkass @manton - This has been a really great conversation thread to find some amazing people to follow! :)
Also, congrats on an epic run.
@manton @joecab.bsky.social I'm sure I can make a ringtone available to you ;p
