Robert Oster Sydney Lavender. 🖋️ Dark purple in concentrate, with shades of blue and gray, like writing with the last dregs of summer dusk.

@cygnoir What a lovely purplish hue! How does it behave? That’s an ink that could potentially fit into my regular rotation - if I can make some space on my shelf, that is 😬

@cygnoir samples like this make me wish I wasn’t so boring — I just have all my fountain pens loaded up with black ink. 😂

@chrisfoley It’s on the drier side, which makes it a good choice for larger nibs. I have it in a medium-fine Sailor nib right now, and it’s still quite smooth.

@pimoore I did the writing in this test with my Sailor Pro Gear Slim, which has a medium-fine 14k gold nib. The big patch of color I do with a cotton swab!

@cygnoir That will be something to try once I get to the store in my area that carries Robert Oster inks. I might pick up a few others once I’m there in order to justify the trip.

@cygnoir Sydney Lavender has quickly become one of my favorite inks. I’ve learned that I’m partial to purple greys and muted colors.
