@manton Cross posting to Mastodon doesn’t appear to be working…or is on a go slow?
@manton My logs from 20 minutes ago say, “Feed: Cross-posting to Mastodon…,” but there is nothing on Mastodon.
I’ve posted it manually now.
@manton 3 hours on and my last post here was not cross posted to Mastodon, despite what the logs said.
@crossingthethreshold It’s hard for me to tell what happened but after it failed to post to Mastodon, the way it failed essentially causes it to not try to post again, to avoid duplicates. I also noticed the feed URL is using the XML feed, but it’s a little better to use the JSON version so I’m going to update your account to use that.
@manton Thank you for looking into this. This is the first time that cross posting has failed for me, I think since you introduced it. Thank you for making the adjustments.
