@Annie my mom told me about a “progressive party” she participated in, which I assumed meant politics but apparently means you move from house to house for each course 🫨 that means everyone has to clean their house! 😝 Sign me up for park potluck instead 😂
@tracydurnell I remember my parents participating in one of those in our neighborhood when I was in high school! And yeah, um, no thanks. Potluck at the park instead!

@tracydurnell @Annie Hah, yes, I’d forgotten … We’d have progressive dinners sometimes when I was a teacher back in the 80s. I’d completely forgotten about that. On one memorable occasion a fellow teacher slipped on the path at one of the venues while holding a bottle of wine and cut his hand very badly indeed. The whole moving around thing was quite fun.
@Annie We’re half way there. Dismantled the old table and hoping to get the new one assembled this evening, dog willing. I hope there’s an Allan key included!
