I’m excited about the forthcomingDrafts 5. I live in this app by @Agiletortoise.

@macgenie I love this app and use it for lots of things including posting to my blog from my iPhone. Excited to see what changes are in store.

@pat Awesome, me too. I created an action for Drafts 5 to publish directly to WordPress so rarely even need to resort to Workflow.

@macgenie I feel like I’m the only person who doesn’t have the Drafts 5 beta! 🙂

@colinwalker My blog is powered by Jekyll and hosted by Github pages. Haven’t figured out how to get Drafts to play directly with Working Copy yet.

@macgenie i bought this a few weeks ago, but i have yet to incorporate this into my lifestyle.. I need a few examples, i think.

@sergio\_101 I use Drafts for almost everything that starts out as text. I draft blog posts. I use it for note-taking while watching TV/movies for an Incomparable episode. It's great for drafting emails. I've barely scratched the surface of the advanced features.

@macgenie adding multiple calendar events with Fantastical’s URL Scheme is one of the things I use Drafts for the most.

@sergio\_101 I use it for drafting and sending long emails, sending text messages, adding calendar events, adding reminders, random note storage

@sergio\_101 using Drafts actions, I can add multiple to-dos to Things, prepend notes to my daily log, draft text for social media and emails. I use it for Instagram because there is no return key.

@EddieHinkle I've never done pre-order before, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that works.

@jmreekes I wish there was a desktop version that did the same thing, and synced with the mobile version

@colinwalker I figured as much since it didn’t list a price on the App Store. Definitely easier than remembering to go download it on launch day :)

@kimonostereo if you’re using iOS, there actually is a return key for Instagram. Just press the number key on the keyboard and the return key is where the @ and # symbols are (this works for micro.blog iOS app too).

@macgenie and you use it with the mobile keyboard?

@sergio\_101 Yes. About half the time. I do have a Smart Keyboard which I use if I'm at a desk or table, but I do a lot of TV/note taking stints while sitting in bed.

@sergio\_101 The recipe app? I'm not sure I see the usefulness there.

@macgenie it’s also a shopping list manager. It would be awesome if I could quickly add grocery list items.

@sergio\_101 I think Greg is planning on a Mac version, hopefully sometime this year. (Don’t quote me on the timeframe). Drafts 5 is a complete re-write of the app, and Greg said that is to help bring it to the Mac

@macgenie the killer feature of paprika is that you can review your recipes, and quickly add all, some, or none of the ingredients into your grocery list.

@macgenie the bad part is, it doesn't do lists very well.. the omni group pretty much wrote the book on that.

@sergio\_101 I had a Workflow workflow somewhere which would parse the list out into OF somewhere, I'll have to dig it out!

@macgenie Me too. I only keep 3 apps in my iPhone dock, and Drafts 4 is one of them. Looking forward to a Mac version too.
