@jeremycherfas lemons are handed oranges (http://qi.com/infocloud/left-handedness)

@cn And there goes my theory that the first hashtag makes it through ...

@jeremycherfas seems, no hashtags make it, unless there’s no unhashed text

@cn But after editing, as you suggested, the hashtag comes through in the edited post.

@jeremycherfas which does have a consequence for Known, it’s no longer a tag in its eyes; were OYG not to class hashtags as categories, and just push the whole Instagram description as content, with a title of a datetime, Known (without modification) would POSSE just fine

@jeremycherfas there may come a stage where a forked OYG service would be the solution for PESOS plus POSSE to micro.blog.

Otherwise, it’s all hash tags (messy/ugly) at Instagram and a Known plug–in modification…

@cn Ah yes, but you can also leave the hashtag in the description and copy it to the Title, so Known knows it as a hashtag, although to be perfectly honest I cannot imagine anyone wanting to find specific photos with the hashtag. I've no desire to get into those massive hashtag lists, but if I did I'd be glad that they did not carry over to m.b where they are useless in any case.

Maybe I should just stop being cute with hashtags in IG.

@jeremycherfas hashtags in a POSSE post from Known refer back to tags there; as you say hashtags in replies are useless, an emojitag 🍋 (all foodstuffs land you at micro.blog/discover/... @manton ?) on the other hand…

@PhoneBoy Perhaps they’ll have marmalade for breakfast — not that you will want any, I know.
