Bryce Canyon National Park. Didn’t catch this view at the right time for the best lighting, but it really is extraordinary. Hiked down and up and now I’m so exhausted just going to chill for the afternoon.
@manton If it's not too late, you might consider crossing the Sierra Nevada at Sonora Pass, California State Highway 108.
It's a stunning drive. I did it last week on the way to visit my parents in Coleville.
Stop in Kennedy Meadows, even if just for a bite or driving break.
@dariusdunlap Nice! Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll have to check that out next time… I changed plans and decided to make it to the coast as quickly as possible, so that’s too far out of the way this time.
@dariusdunlap Yep. Decided to stop in Vegas for the night and then continue on through LA. Not quite as scenic, but it was 111° in Vegas yesterday and I just want to see the cool ocean now. 🙂
