@cliffordbeshers I certainly missed out when we had a total eclipse of the sun in 1999, or 2000. I didnโ€™t have glasses for it, and didnโ€™t think how great it would be to see it. Looking at this photo, I regret that now.

It also reminds of two popular songs from yore, Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler, and Moonlight Shadow by Mike Oldfield.

@odd @maique I went to the one in Portland in 2017, and was very moved, so I resolved to be prepared for this one. It really is an amazing few minutes.

@cliffordbeshers Seeing all the spectacular photos from this event makes me really regret not observing it before when Iโ€™ve had a chance. Hoping there will be other possibilities later.

@cliffordbeshers That would be nice to attend! Not sure if I can make it though. Yet, Iceland is a country that Iโ€™ve always wanted to visit. ๐ŸŒ˜๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ธ

@Parag Startling how moving it is, right? Sent chills up my spine in 2017.

@cliffordbeshers It was just breathtaking! Not sure if you also felt this but, to me this time the darkness was darker and temperature drop was much more pronounced compared to 2017.
