@cliffordbeshers Beautiful. I zoomed in, but because of the compression I canât tell if there is a person at the top of the dune ridge or not.
@odd Two, I think, but they werre so small I didnât see them in real time, only when editing.
@cdevroe in the web interface, click the image. That stilll isnât the full resolution I upload, but it is the best Iâve figured out so far.
@cliffordbeshers Oh! I didnât realize the Mac app didnât load the full resolution image after clicking on it. That is odd @manton?
Beautiful image. Love the cool tones and dof.
@cdevroe @cliffordbeshers Yeah, Micro.blog just doesnât store the full resolution image. The Mac app will load whatever is there. (Great photo!)
@cliffordbeshers great photo! Also, a place I have not been before, I think I need to add it to the list.
@manton question about this, when I see this image in my timeline itâs the width of the column (of course), when I drag the image to desktop itâs 999667. But when I double-click on the image and open in a separate window itâs about 430290 and it doesnât become any larger if I resize the window (all in micro.blog app). My expectation was that the window would show the image in itâs max size not in a smaller size than in the timeline.
@manton @cliffordbeshers So, for me, on this post, the Mac app loads a small image, but the web app loads a large image.
@jemostrom We often display images at half the full resolution because most screens pack twice the pixels in, so showing it that way provides all the detail possible. Which app are you using? Mac should keep zooming in if you resize the window.
@manton micro.blog for macOS. Yes, but in this case the display in the separate window is less than half of the max size of the image, and I canât change the photo size. I can change the window size but that doesnât affect the photo size, I also tried command-+ but that doesnât work.
@jemostrom Sorry, youâre right. This seems to be happening to some images but not others. Iâm sure itâs something we can fix.
@cdevroe @cliffordbeshers @jemostrom Iâm testing a Mac fix for this. Download a beta here if anyone wants to follow along.
@pratik Yup.
