If you could put a short phrase/question on a bracelet (or somewhere else you’d regularly see it), in order to help you make better decisions, big or small, to improve your life, what would it say?

@joshuapsteele That’s a great question that I don’t have a good answer for. I’ve asked myself the same sort of thing when I’ve considered getting a tattoo, but never come up with something meaningful enough I wanted to make it permanent.

@joshuapsteele I would have one on each wrist. One would say “Remember the Lemons” and the other would say “Forget the Lemons.”

I’m entirely serious, but the reason is too complicated to explain, so let’s just say it’s a Zen thing.

@joshuapsteele I’ve often pondered getting the classic “this too shall pass” but, honestly, I like the idea of getting “there but for the grace of God goes John Bradford.” I like the full version because I’m not religious enough in myself to really make use of “…grace of God go I” but the full version still reminds me to be empathetic and to put myself in others’ shoes.
