@circustiger we have a garden full of them. They are always such a joy when they emerge. The only flowers to rival them, IMHO, are dahlias, especially the Thomas Edison dahlia which is huge and deep purple.

@mbkriegh Dahlias are stunning, I think for me it is the fragility of peonies though that captures my heart. They are rarely available in Australia, and one of the things I miss most about my life in the UK, as they were quite literally everywhere.
