Pretty happy with how Micro.blog 3.7 turned out. In addition to the Liquid Glass update, the new post text editor has been completely rewritten, now matching the Markdown highlighting on the web. Lots of fixes throughout the app.
@manton Is the app exclusively for use with micro.blog or is it able to be used with other xml-rpc blog sites?
@dhry Some of the features only work with Micro.blog, but it can post to XML-RPC blogs like WordPress and also some blogs via Micropub. (There is a Micropub bug that I need to follow up on, though…)
@manton Been looking for a client app that's a little cheaper than Marsedit, after coming from the Windows world where Windows Live Writer and OpenLiveWriter following that were free and fully featured. Checking out the micro.blog client now! (I had completely forgotten that I have an mb account, actually - was wondering at first who the heck had stolen my username 🤣)
@manton After updating, I can no longer scroll down far enough to reach the “Show More” button in the Timeline. I am using iOS 18.7.8.
This problem seems to exist for every view, actually, not just the timeline. The buttons at the bottom of the screen cover the bottom end of the scrollable view.
