Do people with clacky keyboards, like me, still pick up an Apple keyboard to velcro under the desk for TouchID?

@cdevroe No, but that's brilliant. I have my laptop open on a riser next to my big monitor, so I just reach over to scan when I need to.
@cdevroe I want them to add a TouchID sensor to the Magic Trackpad, too, so we can use our clacky keyboards. Maybe this week? We can dream.
@pratik man I would absolutely love this. I get by with the Apple Watch approval thingy but it’s clunky.
@takeo Yup. Same here. Just have to take my hand off the keyboard and the trackpad to double click on my watch.
@jessekelber this is what I have done. But I think I’m going to go clamshell mode with the M4.
@jessekelber Is that an issue with the computer? Or, a preference?
@cdevroe It's an issue of the metal lid blocking an already weak signal from the router, which is upstairs and in the opposite corner of the house. My office space is in the back corner of the basement...
@cdevroe and @bjhess here you go you could try what @Burk did to get a Standalone Touch ID 😃
@ericmwalk Would I buy that thing? Yes. Would I project that thing? No. Unfortunately not the time or inclination right now. Pretty cool, though!
