@mikehaynes unrelated reply, sorry... Are there plans to make it easier to publish on Dialog? As it stands I have to dismiss the keyboard to get to the submit button.

@mikehaynes finally plucked up the courage and my site is now running on a new template imported from github - of course it looks identical - because i have imported the same theme and then i am going to attempt to edit the bits I want to … we will see.

one quick question - it is classed as a jeckyl theme - everyone seems to be talking hugo … did i get the wrong one?

@JohnPhilpin @mikehaynes There are some references to Jekyll still because I rewrote them to use Hugo and probably missed a few things. I'll look at that get it updated.

@robothive Dialog hasn't been working for a few weeks. Known issue?

@cdevroe If you mean the Android app for micro.blog, it's been working fine for me. I'd like to see Manton borrow an Android phone to use it for a while, so he could see great features on it he could build into his own apps.

@cdevroe @Ron As with Ron, Dialog is working fine for me. I used it for this reply.

@Ron Manton does have an old Android phone he keeps in a drawer somewhere; he mentioned pulling it out, charging it up, and installing Dialog when it was first released :-)

@smokey That's good to know. He should do it! I find it to be MUCH more user friendly fhan the official mobile apps. For example there was a recent discussion of using the web interface while mobile. So with my iPod Touch I went to Safari and confirmed that one could indeed bring up the web interface and use it there. But this was NOT very A to B. In Dialog on every single item in the Timeline, one can IMMEDIATELY jump to the web interface by clicking on the three dot button on the right and selecting "view post in browser." Another example. Dialog is not yet configured to display videos in the Timeline. BUT when I suspect I'm missing out on a video in Dialog, I click on the three dots, select view in browser and I can immediately view the video! NO update to Dialog needed. Click on the standard left caret for back and BAM you're back in Dialog. I think both of these innovations are well worth the price of admission (Free)! Dialog also shows the character count, even in replies. You get a prize, if you can convince Manton to take a look. I've learned he doesn't take any advice from me, EVER. But he's always very polite in dismissing my ideas! // @simonwoods

@robothive I believe I'm on the very latest Android on my Pixel 2 XL. The timeline stopped reloading on April 22nd. Can't get it to refresh. Quit app, restarted phone, etc. How does one "dump cache?"

@Ron I agree it is a nice app. Though, the reply button being hidden by the keyboard makes me want to throw my phone in a river at this point. :)

@robothive @rossk @simonwoods @ron - I cleared cache, and also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it via Google Play and it is still stuck on April 22. I'll just place my phone directly in the toilet now.

@robothive I hope to carve out some time to contribute in any small way that I can; code, reporting, etc.
