@jean Timely choice. Weāre actually having to put down one of our cats today (in about an hour). Seeing otherās pets will add some joy in an otherwise sad day.
@jean I am a full-time guinea pig concierge, just for Grace now, having lost Ada in November.
I also have puppy-nephew Louie and dog-niece Zoƫ, who brighten my life with unadulterated enthusiasm when they greet me.
I do a lot of pet sitting for my neighbors: Poppy the chihuahua has a permanent place in my heart. The cats view me primarily as a treat dispenser.
@jean Iām definitely a cat person, happily living with orange kitty Tamsin who is doing well even though she has early stage kidney disease.

@jean A 11-year-old golden retriever. Heās a ball of fluff, but heās one of the friendliest dogs I have ever seen. Heās big, and heāll bowl you over the moment he sees you if youāre not looking.
@MirazHe isā¦ Heās gorgeous, too. Heās more copper colored than blonde, which is awesome, too.
@jean Lucy, the five-year-old black lab, is an important part of our family. On work-from-home days sheās always close by, ready to remind me that it is almost time for dinner
@jean Iāve recently became a rabbit-uncle after my sister picked up a new rabbit a few weeks ago. She (the rabbit) had some mild internet success by appearing in this tweet.
@jean two cats, courtesy of the local humane society. They eat my plantsā¦ even the fake onesā¦. one of them also likes to eat the stringy window blind pulls. They are the worst behaved cats Iāve ever had, and I absolutely love them.
@jean Mine is definitely a pet-loving household! We have a cuddly and hilarious tabby cat, Gidget, who just turned six a couple of weeks ago. Before lockdown, weād also regularly see my parentsā dog Gizmo (who used to also be my dog before I moved out), who is BFFs with Gidget when heās allowed to come over.
@lmika That is hysterical. I do love bunnies. One of my nicknames for my guinea pig is ābun-bunā. We both know she is not a rabbit. Itās a postmodern inside joke between the two of us. Or maybe just one of us.
@AshP I really love dogs. Iām a regular dog walker for other people. I canāt decide if I want to commit to my own again.

Siku is a beautiful husky-lab who loves the cold and being just out of reach.
Gidget is a minpin who loves the heat and being on laps.
