I’m wondering if 1Password and I are no longer strategically aligned.

@philosopher They raised their prices by 33%, and haven’t delivered any meaningful improvements to me as a home user in years. I think they are really focused on the corporate market now, and if they can get some bonus revenue from home users at a nice premium, that’s just cream.

@canion I moved away from them when they took on all that VC funding, as I saw it as a bad omen. I went to Bitwarden, and since then to Proton Pass. (I also didn’t want to limit myself to only Apple devices by using Apple’s Keychain/Passwords app.)

@philosopher Trialing Apple Passwords. Bitwarden is my next option.

@canion Apple Passwords has definitely come a long way, but I can’t say enough good about Bitwarden if only because it stores more infrmation types and is easier to use cross platform. Wherever you land though, it’s great that we’ve got fantastic options.

@canion Cool. I’m leaning towards 2FAS Pass.
