I’ve been enjoying the content of Apple TV+ more than anything recently shown on Netflix. Critics seemed to pan the Apple shows, but I’ve liked For All Mankind, See, and Morning Wars. : blog.andrewcanion.com

@canion The problem I find with all the TV/Movie streaming services nowadays is that a) Its all now owned by Disney and they have all the rights b) Its now hard/impossible for anyone to complete c) As a result content is often limited, infrequently available or sparse at best and c) Its starting to (if not already) get costly; like Cable TV costly (again) -- Which I think is what the corporate Media Giants wants. So sadly I probably won't buy into Apple TV+ or Disney+ and recently cancelled my Netflix account.

@canion Out of interest; What are you paying for this Apple TV+?

@canion Morning Wars? I think you meant The Morning Show, right? It's an awesome drama with great acting. I love how they've addressed the #MeToo movement from behind-the-scenes perspective.

@canion I have a prediction. Disney will own all the services and content and licensing. There will be no competition. Streaming everything you want or interests you will cost nearly as much as Cable TV did. Solution? Mostly buy your own content in DVD / Blurray form and use Plex; limit your “streaming services”.

@pratik It is actually called Morning Wars! The fictional show is called The Morning Show.

... Just checked. According to IMDb, only Australia is using a title other than The Morning Show. Even in Russian, they use Утреннее шоу, the word "show" simply transliterated from English. 🤔

@macgenie @canion Oh yes, The Morning Show on Channel 7 in Australia is commercial filth! You’re right, @NTKF, as a host Larry sort of keeps it together and he’s generally the nice guy of Australian TV. (I remember seeing Morning Wars as a title here and instantly thinking that it was a copyright issue with that show.)
