Imagine needing to charge your iPhone, laptop or car every 10 days rather than every day! Really hoping this goes into production soon.
@kaa not to be overly pessimistic but Apple would just make the battery 90% smaller to make it thinner and lighter. Additionally, what everybody always seems to forget is the increase in charging time. Assuming current charging times of ~2h could lead to ~20h for 10x capacity
@kulturnation in case you have one of the newer models there are some options using the usb-c power delivery standard
@bwuerkner I’m sure that a charge to charging balance can be accommodated for batteries that potentially have x10 the capacity.
