The new ChatGPT for Mac (Codex) is updated about once a day, and each time I click the update button I expect them to have added a dedicated “Chat” section with a list of previous, searchable chats. But nope! Really hard to explain UI regression.

@manton And each time I update, I check if setting projects sort to “by last updated” sorts them again, but nope, still unsorted

@manton I agree. Ultimately I think bringing the two together is the right move, but they really should fix the chat list situation. I was working with it a lot last night and it was frustrating.

@bryan I almost feel like I need to email them some feedback if it’s not addressed soon. I could get used to the smaller floating window for new chats, but finding and continuing older chats is more difficult now.
