I must be a masochist, I woke up at 5:45 to book a campsite at the coast on a weekend in mid-August before they evaporated.

@bryan On my watch, the 5:45 alarm is labeled Cape Lookout. I’ve tried several times to get a cabin there for this summer, and I have been sniped every time. And then I’m tired and cranky for the rest of the day. I like to get there a few times a year. I have reservations this spring, and actually I prefer the off-season, but I’m surprised how impossible getting a summer reservation has been. I give up, and will try again for the fall. No more 5:45 masochism.
