🧁 So today the guys introduced me to the most ridiculously decadent pastry, even by Danish standards, the Fastelavn bun. Ridiculous. And like the porker that I am, I ate the whole damn thing. Don’t judge.

@kaa Fastelavn buns are something similar to what we in Sweden call Semla, right. If so, they are awesome and I not only don’t judge, I highly endorse you eating the whole thing. :)

@MrHenko They absolutely are. My boy Pontus (who is Swedish and travels over the border every day) tells me that the ones in Sweden are typically more traditional (white sugar, cream, etc), while the Danish one are a little more out there with all the additional stuff (blueberries, chocolate, nougat etc)? Either way, it's a tradition I can get behind :)
