I’ve spent hours over the last month trying to migrate my WordPress site to Ghost (self-hosted). I finally had a breakthrough over the weekend, but then I realized the amount of clean-up needed on 20 years of posts and decided to stick with WP. I did learn a lot though, so all was not lost.

@bradbarrish Have you ever considered moving the main site to micro.blog?

@starrwulfe I did consider it, yes. It still is a consideration. I learned a lot trying to migrate to Ghost. The main learning is that I have a lot of clean-up to do in WP before I make any move.

@bradbarrish last time I tried to do a migration, Ghost imported all my hundreds of posts as drafts. Not sure what the idea there was but did it really expect me to republish each post? Did you see that behavior when you just tried it?
