I’m done trying todo list apps. Done. No more.
@Gabz I've literally used all of them. Every service. None of them work for me and I'm just over it. It has everything to do with me and nothing to do with the apps. The pattern is I put a bunch of things in an app, never look at it because it's too overwhelming and just end up making a list of a few things at the beginning of every day on a postit or something. I almost never go back to the big list sitting in an app and all it does is cause me anxiety.
You asked 🤷♂️
@bradbarrish i can relate to this. I have tried them all, bounce between them. Can really never stick to one. And just like you said, is not necessarily the app, it’s me. Which is why a lot of times I just go back to the simplest, Reminders.app
@bradbarrish @Gabz I think it’s the apps, not you. Ideally, what you want from a «tout doux» app is a list of tasks, priorotized by importance, urgency and time required. In other words, juggling three imprecisely defined variables. I suspect that people with visual imaginations (unlike me) do this sorting intuitively, with varying degrees of success. It’s a lot to ask of an app.
