I think my next blog post will be my recommendations for fountain pens for newbies. Have questions?

@Aleen if I use a fancy pen do I need fancy paper? How much bleeds through, can I use two sides of a page? Do they come in widths like ballpoint pens? This is my first pen, what do I need to know about ink? Is there maintenance to a fancy pen? Do I have to clean it or something? (There’s some for you.) 😊

@Aleen When I started using fountain pens, I used cartridges because I was scared of converters and bottles of ink. (Now I prefer the bottles.) Might be something to touch on.

@sketchbookb I still use cartridges because it’s just easy. I don’t feel compelled to switch to something else.

@sketchbookb Yup! My #1 pick for a starter fountain pen doesn't even take cartridges 😱
