Tonight Adam Newbold posted about receiving a cease and desist. Some people assumed it was from me, but I had never heard of it. Micro.blog has not sent anyone a cease and desist. I have been focused on making Micro.blog better and hiring Sven to help answer customer questions, not hiring lawyers.

@manton Saw this just a bit ago. I won’t be believing it until I see something with substance. If it was about someone else, they really should have cleared your name with the post. This is ridiculous.

@manton this whole thing has taken up a non zero percent of my attention (between posts on m.b and the last episode of CoreIntuition) and yet I still have no idea what happened or what this was about except that it involved Vincent somehow. It has been a weird experience. Every time I try to follow a link it seems gone.

@manton It would not surprise me if Adam Newbold has been going after others besides just you and Vincent. Perhaps one of those other people have lawyered up.

@littleknown I’m sorry it has been a distraction. It is very weird. I could blog details about the whole thing but decided it was better to let it go.

@manton I totally understand that, I just thought it was an unusual situation since if you weren’t seeing it all unfold, you missed what it was about, but then it became a whole thing that came out elsewhere. Just a comment about it, nothing more.
