Updated the Mac app again today, adding a search field for your replies and improving the highlighting when searching posts. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. Looks a lot better.

@manton — Since I am new to it: what are the advantages of using the Mac app? (specifially over the web version)

@Magi I like the Mac app for most posting and browsing the timeline. It’s really a personal preference whether you like a native app that’s always there in a window. There are many things only the web version can do, though, so I sometimes jump back and forth.

@manton Thanks! Any chance that the Mac app will get AppleScript dictionary support?

@Magi I had considered AppleScript early on, but sadly it feels like a dead end for Apple right now. We do have a URL scheme for starting a new post that can be used in scripts or Shortcuts, and we could do more later.

@manton Thanks again. Note—I can do miracles when AppleScript is implemented in an app. That said, I will give the URL scheme a solid try.
