The battery life on my iPhone XR is starting to suck more and more. Thinking about next options. Do I go Android? Stay with iPhone? Ditch the smartphone? What do you think I should do?

@joshuapsteele Lots of good options out there. If you own other Apple products, I’d start with the iPhone. Otherwise, I’d get a Google Pixel.

@joshuapsteele It's not a full answer, but my advice is that people who ask that quation often underestimate the hidden costs of switching operating systems. So take a bigger picture look at those costs before jumping ship.

@joshuapsteele How long have you had it? Go into the battery section of Settings and see your batteries health.

Either way though don’t switch. Not worth the aggravation. And whilst the iPhone isn’t fault fee every Android phone I’ve come across has far more faults. Not worth going down that road.

@joshuapsteele if you don't use Apple's ecosystem and you wish to go Android, I'd recommend going Pixel route and flashing it with GrapheneOS.
