It’s that time of the year when I have no idea what day of the week it is. This might seem strange to overseas readers but much of New Zealand goes to sleep for two weeks around Christmas - New Year and the days merge into one long glorious summer holiday for many people.

@billbennettnz Me too. It’s hard work remembering the day of the week in this blissful ‘between’ time.

@Miraz Aren’t you in a rural area? It must be even harder there.

@billbennettnz Yup, a small beach community with no shops or cafes etc. It’s just ‘out’ of time. 😀

@billbennettnz Only two weeks? I had a meeting scheduled with an NZ Govt body around mid December that then got postponed ‘because of Christmas’ … the new date is the 2nd February!
