I know I complain about the App Store a lot, but the release process is really limiting and unpredictable. We’re juggling Sunlit 2.2 and a 2.2.1 update. Hope everything will be live on Tuesday. (Also shipping some M.b updates at the same time.)

@manton It's the worst! I recently had a nasty mistake make it to production and because there's no way to roll back, I had to take our app down entirely until I could get an expedited update out to fix the bug.

@manton It doesn't help having a co-founder writing our Android app, and constantly pointing out how much easier and faster it is to publish updates there 😏

@manton Until you did it, I had no idea you could hold off releasing an app once it was approved. I always thought app approval was the last step.

@manton @pratik That was one of the improvements Schiller made after he gained total control of the Store. I think he mentioned it on the live The Talk Show from last year.

@belle This is the part of Android development that I'm jealous about. Not going to give up on the iOS community eventually pressuring Apple to open up distribution, but it seems far off.

@manton 2.2 is live now, for me.
