Is there another micro.blog client that has a usable sharing widget? Because if I can’t find a decent replacement I may have to figure something else out for my notes blog.

@baldur Here's a Shortcut to create quoted text from selection in markdown with link, copied to the clipboard. It will then open the Micro.blog app. Just create a new post and paste.

@Denny Thank you. I may look at adapting that to use with Drafts.

@baldur i was wondering why the sharesheet got worse, too. I thought @manton said something about this being an escaped defect?

@toddgrotenhuis @baldur The share sheet should generally be better in 3.0, except for missing the selected text. Looking into how we can bring that back.

@Denny I tried this shortcut. Can we have it open the Micro.blog app and paste the text in a new post window? Is that a Shortcuts thing or a Micro.blog app thing?

@pratik Unfortunately it's not possible. Apps have to offer "intents" before Shortcuts can do anything with them and the Micro.blog app doesn't offer any intents. For now all we can do is open the app. However! It would be possible to change it from opening the app to opening a new post on the micro.blog website. You'd still have to paste it in but it is one less step. www.icloud.com/shortcuts...

@Denny Ah! Damn. Yeah, this one works better. In the previous one, the Micro.blog app doesn’t open much less in a new post window. I can change it to open Ivory though but not in a new post window (yet).

@manton ok, I'm not sure which part is better? I think before it pulled across title and URL in a markdown link and now it doesn't.
