Good podcast from @danielpunkass and @manton reviewing the Apple event .. wondering if we know whether HomePod requires a wired power connection or if they contain a battery that gets charged?

@JohnPhilpin I think it's definetly a wired device. The cable is not even detachable.

@fabio gah - seriously? i suspected as much - since they weren’t calling it out - but not even being able to detach the cable does make me wonder about all these pictures gnashes teeth. thankyou.
