Emojis are fun, sometimes useful, and fortunately accessible in most cases. There are so many though, I often struggle to find the one i want in a reasonable amount of time.

@SteveSawczyn Emojis are fun, accessible in most screen readers, and the gateway drug to ensuring that the other stuff in the unicode character set is well-supported. Looking forward to the day when the average screen reader user quits hating on them. :)

@SteveSawczyn You're right, I shouldn't hold my breath. I will continue to point it out though every time someone hates on emojis. Just like I do when they hate on javascript citing accessibility concerns, at least the ones where it's "JS is inaccessible" type of language. Hope springs eternal I suppose.
